BIOGRAPHY

Adam Partridge is a professional auctioneer and valuer of antiques, fine art and collectables based in Cheshire.

As an antiques expert, he appears regularly for the BBC on various programmes including Flog It and Bargain Hunt, which he has done for over 4 years.

He has also appeared many times on Cash in the Attic and is well known as one of the leading and most entertaining auctioneers in the UK.

Other programmes include Dickinson’s Real Deal and Job Swap (both ITV/Granada). He was also approached by Key TV in 2002 to present a programme entitled Auction Fever for Granada but declined this opportunity due to his total commitment to “Bargain Hunt” .

In 2005 he was asked by the BBC to present a pilot called  Hard Sell.

Adam regularly gives talks on antiques and undertakes a variety of valuation events including many for various charities as well as numerous high profile charity auctions.
He is an entertaining after dinner speaker on a variety of subjects and has also worked as a compère/MC on many occasions with his most recent commitment being to Hilton Events, when he talks about antiques to groups of people over a weekend stay at a Hilton hotel.

He is 33 years of age and is married with two children. He and his family live in South Cheshire with their two dogs and numerous chickens. Other interests outside antiques & art include music (violin & piano), gardening, travel, food and cricket (a regular participant in celebrity cricket matches and a keen member/supporter of the Lord’s Taverners, for whom he also regularly acts as auctioneer at various fundraising events).
