BIOGRAPHY

Jon Slattery began his career in Radio, covering the entire spectrum - production, presenting and voiceovers. During this exciting period, Jon won numerous prestigious awards and held senior positions in two of the number one Radio Stations in Ireland (Radio Kerry and FM104) plus he was involved in launching the new Irish national Radio Station - ‘Today FM’.

Prior to his freelance escapades, Jon worked for the Irish National TV channel as a continuity announcer and Presenter and continues to be the main male voiceover for RTE1. By his innovation and tenacity, Jon produced, wrote and presented his own weekly video music show, 2TV Classics for Network 2 along with presenting the flagship 2 hour live music video show 2TV on numerous occasions. Then he moved to the UK.

TV Current

Over the past two years, Jon has worked regularly on BBC’s Countryfile and also on BBC 1’s Holiday, filming in the wilds of Alaska and the Arctic Circle.

He has just completed two series for Discovery Real Time, entitled Designer Homes and House in a Box, as well as presenting a number of shows for Real Estate TV from London to Florida. Jon has in a sense been a ‘jetsetter’ for I Want That House for ITV 1, flying to Florida, Menorca, Italy, Croatia, France and Turkey, in the space of a few weeks.

Jon hosted a brand new primetime quiz show, Last One Standing for RTE1, the premier Irish TV channel, which was created by Ludus Productions and ran for twenty weeks.

He has also fronted Carfile, a cutting edge car review programme on RTE Network 2 (produced by Trilogy). Not withstanding racing through the Mediterranean for The Travel Channel and Two Four’s production Slipstream, which tx’s every week on Men and Motors.

Business

The past two years have seen Jon set up Trilogy Media Productions UK - a broadcast and corporate TV company. Trilogy has produced broadcast programmes and, in the last year, has focused on corporate projects with ‘property programmes being one of the main lines of work.

The company produces high-end, multi platformed, multi media footage, not only for property developments, but also for equity fund raising in countries such as Bulgaria, Spain and Bahrain. More recently Jon has created Trilogy Middle East with offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain with investment from his Arab partners and ex Merrill Lynch bankers. Presently, Trilogy has offices in Dublin, Denver, London and Bahrain and is diversifying into printing and advertising.

Jon is also involved with Core Real Estate Group, which is setting up a multi million pound fund in the Middle East and building a 55 story tower in the financial district of Doha, Qatar, with a build cost in excess of 80 million dollars.

Using his experience of the property market around the world, gained from presenting TV shows, Jon saw a gap in the market and has brought together a team of investment bankers, marketing and sales experts to form Core Investment Properties.
