A born performer, Liz found her love of the stage at a young age performing in ‘Night of a 100 stars’ with Catherine Zeta Jones.  Having found her forte, she continued to light up the stage in theatre productions from ‘The Hobbit’, and ‘Cinderella’ to ‘Aladin’ and ‘Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat’.

The Model

At 17, Liz was spotted by Models One. And very quickly became a star on ‘Eleanor Live’ on HTV Wales, and a house model on ‘Heno’ S4C TV, and also on ‘This Morning’ on ITV1.

In 1996, Liz  won the ‘Miss Great Britain’ International title, and one of the few British girls to win an international beauty pageant ‘Miss Dream Girl Bikini’ held in the Far East. Liz has held model campaigns with Kronenbourg 1664, Fosters, Sol Beer, and Timberland.  She has also been in TV commercials for Boots NO 7, Suzuki, and Lilt. 2007 saw Liz sign a three year contract to become the global face of Pearl Drops, the Tv commercial is now shown in 10 countries, it is the biggest ever teeth endorsement deal. Dec 2008 saw Liz become the face of Dream perfume by French haute couturier Rachel Elbaz Azagury, her image has been catapulted on billboards & buses all over London. 2009 will see the perfume campaign launch in Moscow, Paris and Dubai. Fashion TV has been following Liz throughout the shoot and International launches with her own 6 part series. 

The TV Presenter

However, it was her love of TV presenting that was to catapult her to fame.  Following the completion of a BA degree in Journalism. Film and Broadcasting from the University Of Wales, Cardiff, Liz became a household name hosting ‘The Pop Factory’, ‘Record of the Year’, ‘The Last Word’, ‘Welsh Music Awards’ and ‘Love on the Rocks’ (all ITV). 

She also hosted ‘The Dating Channel’ and ‘Reds at Five’ (both Sky).  More recently she has guest presented ‘ASBO Teen to Beauty Queen’ (Five), ‘Inside Out’ (BBC1) and ‘See Hear’ (BBC2).

Liz has guested on ‘Tonight with Trevor McDonald’ and on ‘Sky News’ as their social & dating expert.  Pilots include a new show for the National Lottery by UMTV productions and Top Deck.  Currently Liz is presenting ‘Quiz Call’ on Five TV, and has been a firm fixture there for 2 years. Liz has also hosted ‘The Richard Attenborough film awards’, ‘The Swansea Film Festival Awards’ and ‘Transformers world premiere’.

The TV Producer/ Creator

But there is another string to her bow.  Liz has written and produced ‘Numberplate Heaven’ for Men & Motors/ Sky, upwards of 30 shows for the Dating Channel, a series of 54 x 5 minute travel reports for Peakviewing Internet venture and 4 shows for new internet TV launch Squa.re.tv, Liz was also a top five finalist for the BBC Three Nations Production Talent, gaining a brilliant reputation working behind the scenes devising many new formats and ideas. 

The Entrepreneur

2005 saw Liz take over the licence and own the Miss Great Britain Pageant becoming an entrepreneur with beauty and brains, the first ever British beauty queen to have taken over her own title. Only when she had successfully reinvented it back into the celebrity arena with Spun Gold TV, did she sell the licence on.

A keen motivational speaker, Liz is extremely passionate about helping girls to break into modeling and television. In 2008 Liz mentored Lisa Lazarous all the way to Miss UK and into the Miss Universe final in Vietnam. 

The Actress

2009 will be a very exciting year for Liz, who will venture back into her first love of acting with a supporting part in the $10 million budget British Blockbuster ‘The Operative: Red Dawn’. This is however not her first acting role, back in 2002 Liz was cast as the lead Veronica Lake in ‘The Real story of Veronica Lake’ for Studio Universal Italy.    

The Philanthropist

Liz is also a keen charity supporter having presented the following live events: ‘The Royal Variety Club Ball’, ‘The Bafta James Bond MediCinema Night’, ‘Cancer Research UK Quiz Night’, ‘The Great Ormond Street Charity Night’ and ‘Reach4Fashion’.

Liz recently spent time in 3 orphanages in Delhi, India and managed to raise £15K from Lehman Brothers bankers for the resident children. The Asharan Orphanage has since named a nursery after her and Liz continues to be a great ambassador for this orphanage part of the Hope Foundation.

In April 2008, Olivia Newton-John invited Liz to join her in China on ‘The Great Walk to Beijing’, along with Joan Rivers, Sir Cliff Richard and Dannii Minogue. Liz helped raise £15K for Olivia’s new cancer research centre in Melbourne. Liz has been honoured by the Shipibo tribe in the Amazon with a tribal friendship bracelet to say thanks for aiding cancer research there. Liz is also an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, Shelter Cymru, and Wooden Spoon.
